In case you missed it, the MRA 4-wheeler was stolen from inside the Pueblo paddock in June (after Round 2), and much to our surprise, it was recovered by Pueblo police in August!

When we picked it up from the tow yard, it was obvious it had been abused – almost beyond recognition (scroll down to see how it looked) – and in pretty dire shape, needing new axles and tires (just to name a few of the bare minimums). We are now in the process of getting it fixed – Apex Sports is taking care of us, but the repair estimate is still almost $2400. The MRA is a 501(c)(7) not-for-profit corporation, so we rely on donations to help cover things like this. Donations to the MRA Safety Fund can be made by here: https://www.mra-racing.org/donate – all donations are appreciated, and every dollar donated to the Safety Fund is guaranteed to be spent on safety equipment and equipment maintenance!

Here’s what the 4-wheeler looked like when we got it back. The seat had to be covered with a rain jacket because the vinyl had been torn to shreds.
