The Motorcycle Roadracing Association is excited to announce they will be hosting the North America Talent Cup (NATC), at High Plains Raceway on May 7th and 8th, as part of the opening round of the 2022 MRA season. The NATC is new for 2022, and is an exciting development for motorcycle roadracing in North America, as it gives talented and aspiring young racers an official path on the Road to MotoGP™! It is the MRA’s privilege to host the upcoming young riders of the NATC, and their practice and qualifying sessions, and two NATC races (1 on Saturday, and 1 on Sunday) , will be integrated into the MRA’s regular weekend race program (there will not be a SuperStreet event at this round). The MRA is especially proud to see Jayden Fernandez, who won the 2021 Supertwins GTU championship with the MRA, on the 2022 NATC roster!
The MRA Board of Directors recently announced they are waiving spectator fees for 2022, and hope this will increase spectator attendance at this, and all 2022 MRA events.
